Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 13.1 Mile Walk

The Rockin Brews Marathon combines running with 2 of America’s Favorite things, Craft Beer & Music. The event is designed for groups, individuals and serious competitors. There is a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Walk (timed) and Team Relays. Musicians will play at the Finish Line Festival. The Finish Line Festival will feature unlimited soda, beer (21+) and of course, live music. The course follows paved paths and tree covered streets along the shores of beautiful Lake Monona, providing cooler temperatures throughout 75% of the course. Runners will view the beautiful skyline of Madison, WI and run under the Frank LLoyd Wright Monona Terrace. Full Marathon participants will loop the same course twice which allows them to drop off at 13.1 miles if weather conditions are less than perfect or for any other reason. All participants will receive an official Rockin Brews race shirt, post-race snacks, a Goody Bag, unlimited beer & soda, a cool finisher medal and free entry into the Finish Line Festival. Participants can sample as many beers as they like, guests can purchase an unlimited sampling pass for $30 at the Finish Line Festival entrance.

The Rockin Brews Marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. The Marathon & Half Marathon are USATF Certified Courses.

There are no refunds but if you become injured, sick or have a scheduling conflict, you can cancel this registration and receive a free registration for the 2022 Rockin Brews Marathon. Not valid after August 15th, 2021. Does not apply if you are already a deferred registrant or have a free entry. Transfers are not allowed.

MARATHON - 7AM START ($110.00)
Full Marathon, unlimited pours from several local, regional and national Breweries, free live music & snacks at the Finish Line Festival. The course closes at 1:00 pm.
VIRTUAL MARATHON ($55.00)
Run (or walk) 26.2 miles on the road, on a trail or on a treadmill. You pick the location and the time, it's your race at your pace. Record your marathon with Strava or other app and send us your results. Once we verify your completed marathon, we will send you the official Rockin Brews finisher medal and race shirt. Your marathon must be completed between March 15th and September 4th, 2021. Medals and shirts will be shipped on September 10th, 2021.
HALF MARATHON ($75.00)
Half Marathon, unlimited pours from several local, regional and national Breweries, free live music & snacks at the Finish Line Festival. The course closes at 1:00 pm.
VIRTUAL HALF MARATHON ($37.00)
Run (or walk) 13.1 miles on the road, on a trail or on a treadmill. You pick the location and the time, it's your race at your pace. Record your half marathon with Strava or other app and send us your results. Once we verify your completed half marathon, we will send you the official Rockin Brews finisher medal and race shirt. Your half marathon must be completed between March 15th and September 4th, 2021. Medals and shirts will be shipped on September 10th, 2021.
HALF MARATHON WALK - 7:30AM START ($75.00)
The Half Marathon Walk is timed, this event is strictly for walkers. All walkers will receive a goody bag, Half Marathon Walk shirt and a walker's finisher medal as well as any other treats that the runners receive. If you want the runner's medal and shirt, you need to register for the Half Marathon instead. The course closes at 1:00 pm.

To avoid bottlenecks on the course, please choose the most accurate wave start time for your ability. If you do not know your estimated finish time, choose wave 5. Your official time starts when your wave starts.

Liability and Publicity Release: I understand that running in a road race is a potentially dangerous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in the Rockin Brews Marathon including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the impact of the weather, including rain, high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I am aware that the medical support for this event may be volunteers who will be prepared to administer first aid assistance. I further agree that no refund of any type is allowed as costs of the event are covered through my registration and assumed participation. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Rockin Brews Marathon, Madison Events Production, LLC, the City Of Madison, the City Of Monona, the County of Dane, Run Strong Madison, Inc and all volunteers, advertisers, sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to Madison Events Production, LLC for the use of my image or likeness in any recording of this event to be used for advertising, marketing or other legal manners of promotion.
